Utah Tech University partners with high schools to offer students the option to enroll in college-level courses while still in high school, earning both high school and college credit simultaneously.

These courses are taught either at your high school, online, on the main UT campus, or at a branch campus location. The opportunity to take college courses while in high school is an excellent way for students to get a head start on their college education, save money, and challenge themselves academically. Utah Tech’s Concurrent Enrollment program allows students to explore potential college majors or career paths before committing to a specific course of study. In this way, concurrent enrollment can provide a significant benefit to students who take advantage of it.

  1. Check your eligibility.
  2. Contact your academic counselor for any additional requirements and what classes are available at your high school.
  3. Complete the CE application with the Utah System of Higher Education.
  • A parent or guardian to grant approval
  • Social Security Number, student VISA number, or alien registration number
  • Credit/Debit or PayPal account for one-time university application fee
  • Student and Parent/Guardian email addresses

  1. Log into your account at MyUT using your Digital ID Number and password.
  2. Select term current and your high school.
  3. Locate the course and CRN.
  4. Register for the class by CRN.

  1. Find CE Courses offered on UT Campus
  2. Login to MyUT to lookup specific course section times and availability.
  3. Find the CRN for the course you would like to attend.
  4. Complete the UT Concurrent Enrollment Campus Course Form and a member of the CE team will register you for the course. (Allow 2-3 business days to be added to the class.)
  • Login to MyUT
  • Select the “Students” tab
  • Select “Make Payments & Student Account Information”
  • Complete payment. (Must be paid by the third week of the semester.)
